Ever really sit back and wonder what happens when suddenly life takes a turn for the not so good and you wind up dead?

Do you wonder why some people keep going on in this world trying to find something to make themselves feel important, content and just really happy with themselves and everything else? So, they try working at a top paying job with a REALLY important position, making loads of money, trying to find that special someone who's just like them by trying dating services, going out with friends and picking up men or women, drinking until you're sober, other types of deceptive religious ways that promote things that God would not allow?

You know, ANYTHING to fill that spot inside? Wonder why it feels like nothings EVER going to go right and that the whole world is against them and they keep asking "Why God?" Well, don't you think its time to realize something really important, yet so simple to figure out, is right there in front of you? And that there's so much more in life than where you are at now?

God loves you and wants you to be happy! He doesn't want you to have to go through life hurting and feeling lost, nor does He want to you suffer after you die! Yeah, there is definitely life after death and it's very real. There's eternal peace and happiness in the Kingdom of God and then there's suffering and eternal damnation in hell. So, after you die, you will go to one place or the other. God is leaving that choice up to you. He doesn't want you to suffer even when you ARE alive! When God calls you to Him and touches your heart, that void is gone. You can begin to understand the things that God puts in front of you, and begin to experience what REAL love is like coming from Him.

God loves you for just you. That's why He sent His Son Jesus here to show us that love, compassion, forgiveness and being complete and totally happy DOES exist! It's not all that bad! Jesus died just so you can come to the Father and live abundantly now and forever.

Jesus also made it known that it's not about being a good person or doing good things only. It's about faith and living in the Spirit, not just things in this world that get us by or temporarily satisfy us. Things on this earth don't last forever. Things break, go out of style, hair falls out, people break up with each other or pass away. The only constant thing is, knowing that God is always there. As humans, we have a good nature, but we're still human and all of us have that sinful nature. So we can't really expand more on our good works because we really don't know what it's like to do things as God does them. There's a reason why.

Ever since Eve ate that fruit from the forbidden tree in Eden and gave it to Adam (with the encouragement of Satan), sin was born. So, throughout history, humans are born with the nature to sin. God cannot look at sin because it's not of Him. So that's why He sent His Son Jesus here, not only to show that God does love us and wants us live, but to give His life to stand in our place for all the sins of the past, present and future. He wasn't just carrying His cross or dying from all that physical pain. He was taking on Himself all the sins of the world. So all the times we say hurtful things to each other, steal, lie, kill, or even the petty bad things that we shouldn't do without remorse or feeling bad, or even when we do feel bad, Jesus paid for it all on the cross. And we could live, be forgiven of our sins and have that void filled in our lives. No matter how hard we try, we can't go on in life alone. God doesn't want us to. So that's why we have a choice. It's simple. You'll see how.

Recognize that yes, we all sin. No sin is greater than the next and that as humans we're not perfect. Read these passages in the Bible as they come up.

Romans 3:23 - For ALL have sinned, and fall short of the glory God.

So, as our nature, we don't recognize that we do sin and don't really know that there is a way out. So how can we seek out God, if we don't know how?

The normal penalty is death, not just dying the normal way, but eternal death. Not pretty!

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is DEATH, BUT the gift of God is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our Lord.

Realize that there is a way out and it was done on the cross.

Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth His love toward us, IN THAT, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Verse 9 - Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him.

Jesus was sent here to give His life so that we may have eternal life. He did it freely and stood in our place and took all that sin, all that pain, hurt, worthlessness we feel and paid for it all. God loves us that much to do that. And to receive that gift that was freely given, we have to be born of the spirit through Christ and receive the Holy Spirit and let the change begin.

John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should NOT perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn, but that the world may be saved through Him.

Are You a "whosoever"? YES YOU ARE! This means you and everybody else who calls on Jesus' name. Jesus said that if ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY believes in Him will not suffer. You will have that eternal life!

Now that you recognized that yes, nobody's perfect, but we have a way to avoid having to suffer through life and after life. And it's through Jesus Christ! He even said it. And he even prepared a place for us in after we die! Look!

John 14:6 - I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come unto the Father but by Me.

So basically, we don't have to walk alone in this life anymore. So how do we go about coming to Him and receiving that gift which is Salvation through Jesus Christ? That's the easy part! Keep reading!

Romans 10:9 - If thou shall CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart that God had raised Him from the dead, thou SHALT BE SAVED.

Romans 10:13 - For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED.

So, if you believe in that Jesus Christ came here, lived and DIED for the sins of everybody, INCLUDING YOU, and that God raised Him from the grave and now sitting at the right hand of God, you will be saved! THIS MEANS YOU!

Romans 10:10 -For with the heart man( this means EVERYONE, including you, in case you forgot) believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So, are you willing to call upon Him? Do you realize now more than ever that this beautiful gift was done for you and everybody in the whole world? And are you ready to make that decision and ask Jesus to make that change in your life? Okay well, this is what you do. If you believe and are ready, pray this prayer :

Lord Jesus, thank you for taking my sins and the sins of the world upon you and dying on the cross on Calvary that day, so I may not suffer eternal death and live.

Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and know the penalty is eternal death. But I do believe that you are the Son of God, That YOU died for my sins, rose from the dead and that you are now sitting at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. I realize now that You are the only way to the Father. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart, come into my life and wash my sins away.

I repent of my sins Lord Jesus so I can begin a new life in you.

Thank you Jesus for saving me from eternal damnation. Thank you Father. In Jesus' name I give thanks and praise. Amen.
